Who Do You Say I AM?

I was convicted that my thoughts and prayers have been so focused on me lately.  What I want, what I need, how sick I feel, how depressed I am.  God, by his Holy Spirit, reminded me that it’s all about Him, who He is, what His will is, that His kingdom come and His will be done.  I prayed that He would be exalted, His righteousness would be made known, and that His mercy would be shown.

The verse of the day in bibleportal.com was

Psalm 116:1-2 NIV1984

“1  I love the Lord,  for he heard my voice; he heard my cry  for mercy.   2  Because he turned his ear  to me, I will call on him as long as I live.”

Isn’t it amazing when the goodness of God shines through all the suffering and pain?  God heard my humble prayer for His mercy.  I will serve Him today and always.
