Written and Compiled by Alan Brozik (3-4-26)
I’ve not written for several days now but God continues to speak to my heart daily. I’ve continued to meditate on anger and unforgiveness and on the verses God showed me ( see Appendix – 1 John 2:16 and Eph. 4:25-32). God is showing me steps to take in obedience to His calling on my life. One of those is to fervently pray with faith about the things he has spoken to my heart through His word, His Spirit, through dreams, and His voice.
Here are some things that God has told me to pray for and about:
- War – *Jer. 49 – the prophesy about breaking the bow of Elam and removing the king and their princes (KJV), scattering them to every nation of the world (a diaspora – a dispersion of darkness throughout the world) and God setting up His throne in Elam. Elam is Persia which is Iran today. Is this being fulfilled before our eyes as an end times prophesy? Regardless of the controversy, the war is real and requires prayer.
- Pray for the Iranian church. God has heard the cry of the people of Iran and poured out His Spirit. It is the fastest growing church in the world. Revival has come to their land but persecution is rampant. Thousands of Christians are being martyred for their new faith. Death to “infidels” is the way of Islam.
- War is coming and will spread throughout the Middle East and the world. Here are some things God showed for me personally so I could prepare my heart for what is coming. This is a word from God to me to strengthen and encourage me so that I do not lose heart. I would like to share this with others so they might be encouraged and not lose heart.
- a. What started this off was a Dream on 9-23-25. (I wrote down the dream. It can be found in more detail on my computer at C:\Users\kanda\Documents\Bible Study\Words From The Lord\ Dreams and Words from the Lord 9-23-25.docx) Here is the interpretation given to me by the Holy Spirit about the dream [again, this was for me but I would like to share it for the edification of others too]):
- i. There is a war coming to your land in which it will be brother against brother and hand to hand.
- ii. There is a war raging inside me for my body and my soul (that’s how it feels and this one is just for me).
- iii.The Lord told me to get up and meet with Him (it’s 4:00am). I did as He asked.
- iv. He told me to read Proverbs 3. This is to combat “worldiness” and be “transformed by the renewing of my mind” (Rom. 12:1-2) – I will post insights on this in another post.
- v. My Understanding of what God showed me in the dream:
- The coming war will come externally to our land
- The coming war will also be a civil war fought in our own country
- The coming civil war will be between people of the same family, old friends and neighbors, and will be hand-to-hand (intimate)
- b. (A Word From God 1-18-26) – It’s Sunday and the worship service is about to start. God spoke a word to my spirit, “Do not fear what is coming. I am in control. I am about to move.”
- i. I thought to myself that this can’t be happening again (getting a word from the Lord). It must just be me. I thought about the turmoil in the world and the things in the bible prophesied. Then we started singing and the words of the song (Same Power) followed by the sermon on “Don’t Be Afraid” from Matt. 10 happened. It was confirmation that this was the Lord speaking to me.

- With war coming to the world, including in our own land of America, we need to pray for repentance and revival starting with true believers in the church (God’s People). These need to be heartfelt and fervent prayers of repentance of believers turning away from conforming to the pattern of the world and turning to God and His ways – being transformed by the renewing of our minds. Fluffy, sounds good, pharisaical prayers, given on Sunday morning won’t cut it! True repentance comes from godly sorrow for following our own ways, giving heedance to the ways of the world, and giving God our second best. Revival comes through Repentance.
- God is preparing the hearts of the people in Houston (MO) and the surrounding areas for revival.
- With revival comes manifestations of the supernatural –salvations, healings, and displays of spiritual gifts all through the pouring out of the Holy Spirit. However, the enemy doesn’t like losing territory so there may also be false signs, false miracles, and demonic manifestations to fool even the elect if that were possible (Matt. 24:24 and 2 Thess. 2:9-12). Discernment will be required. Be ready!
Revival Comes Through Repentance
(From 1-10-26 and 1-12-26 as a new addition)

As I was praying, a thought came to me from the Holy Spirit: “Revival comes through repentance.” Lord, as I meditate on this I ask that you would teach me through your word and Spirit.
Two examples immediately jump out from scripture. The first is what Jesus’ preached as He began His earthly ministry, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matt. 4:17 ESV). This sparked a nationwide revival among the people of Israel who were looking for Messiah.
The second is Peter’s first sermon at Pentecost after the Holy Spirit came upon them and filled them. He said, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit…so those who received his word were baptized, and there were added that day about three thousand souls‘ (Acts 2:38, 41 ESV).
John the Baptist preached the same message when preparing the hearts of the people to receive Jesus as their Messiah, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 3:2 ESV). The people “were baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins” (Matthew 3:6 ESV). However John made a stipulation for the Pharisees and Sadducees who had come to see what was happening calling them a “brood of vipers” and saying they must “bear fruit in keeping with repentance” (Matt. 3:7-8 ESV). As a prophet of God, John was able to discern that their hearts were not in a place of truly repenting of their sins. The proof of true repentance is bearing fruit.
1-12-26 A third example comes to me as I sought the Lord on the subject of repentance and revival. It’s found in 2 Chron. 7:14 which is a familiar passage and one God has taught me about before:
‘…if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land’ (2 Chronicles 7:14).
The moral of the story (concerning “revival comes through repentance”) is that when I pray for revival in the land I must pray for repentance to precede revival. I must pray that God would turn the hearts of the people towards Him in true repentance, seeing and understanding the deceitfulness and wickedness in their own hearts. This must start with the church. I must pray “if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chron. 7:14 ESV).
Breaking this down, the action of repentance is actually the last step in a fourfold process prior to the beginning of revival:
Our Part
- “If MY people who are called by MY name”
- The context of this passage was the dedication of Solomon’s temple, God appearing to him afterwards telling him what would need to happen when Israel wandered away from their relationship with God.
- this was addressed to Israel, but
- the church, as the “bride of Christ,” is also God’s people
- Step One: “humble themselves”
- Repentance requires humility which is a correct evaluation of my heart in relationship to God (1 Peter 5:6; James 4:6-9)
- Step Two: “pray”
- Repentance requires an understanding that I have sinned against God (Matt. 18:13-14)
- Repentance requires a confession of my sins to God (1 John 1:9)
- Step Three: “seek My face”
- Repentance requires fervently seeking restoration to God (Psalm 51:10-12)
- Repentance requires heartfelt “godly sorrow that leads to repentance” not just saying “I’m sorry” (2 Cor. 7:10)
- Repentance requires a sincere, earnest desire to turn to God (Psalm 51 and 2 Cor. 7:10)
- Step Four: “turn from their wicked ways”
- Repentance requires a twofold action
- Turning away from sin (no longer conforming to the pattern of the world – Rom. 12:2)
- Turning towards God (with godly sorrow, reverence, and awe – 2 Cor. 7:10; Heb. 12:28-29)
- Repentance requires a twofold action
“Then” (God’s Part)
- “I will hear from Heaven”
- God’s throne is in heaven. He no longer occupies the Holy of Holies in the temple at Jerusalem (Acts 7:48-50; Matt. 27:51; Isa. 66:1-2)
- Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us (Heb. 12:2; Rom. 8:34)
- The Father hears our prayers in heaven through Christ Jesus’ atoning sacrifice on the cross (1 Tim. 2:5-6; 1 John 5:14-15; Heb. 4:16)
- “I will forgive their sin”
- God the Father made a way of forgiveness through the death, burial, and resurrection of His Son Christ Jesus to all who would accept, believe, confess, and call on the name of the Lord (Rom. 10:9-10, 13)
- “I will heal their land”
- Reference to the land is the land of Israel which is God’s property He has given to His people
- Two of the three evidences of God’s correction to Israel to lead them to repentance were against the land itself (2Chron. 7:13)
- Drought (against the land) – “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain”
- Natural disasters (against the land – natural, geological, and war are ways God has used in Scripture) – “Command the locust to devour the land”
- Plagues (against the people themselves) – “Send pestilence among my people…”
- America was founded on the principles of God but has forsaken the statutes and commandments of God on which the country was founded and turned to worshiping other “gods.”
- We have been experiencing these corrections from God calling us to repentance as a nation. We have been experiencing more frequent and destructive natural disasters. War is coming to our land as well.
- Judgment begins with the House of God – the Church (1 Peter 4:17)
- The land is still God’s but the nation cannot stand if it does not come to repentance
- Revival comes through repentance
Consequences of Idolatry and an Unrepentant Heart
“But if you [plural] turn aside and forsake my statutes and my commandments that I have set before you, and go and serve other gods and worship them, then I will pluck you up from my land that I have given you, and this house that I have consecrated for my name, I will cast out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples. And at this house, which was exalted, everyone passing by will be astonished and say, ‘Why has the Lord done thus to this land and to this house?’ Then they will say, ‘Because they abandoned the Lord , the God of their fathers who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods and worshiped them and served them. Therefore he has brought all this disaster on them” (2 Chronicles 7:19-22 ESV).
- Plucked you up from His land
- Cast out of His sight
- Become a “proverb and a byword” among the people of the world
- Bring disaster on them for:
- Abandoning the Lord
- Forsaking His statutes and His commandments
- Worshiping other gods
- Serving other gods
Repentance Comes Before Revival
Revival Comes Before Restoration
