My name is Alan Brozik. I’ve been a believer in Jesus since December 1, 1981 when I asked him to be my Savior. He set me free immediately from alcohol and drugs and started me off on a winding road of deliverance, relapse, and restoration, to share with others what He has done for me.
I was involved in a church plant as an Associate Pastor leading worship while in Bible College and went on to receive a Master’s Degree in Christian Counseling in Seminary. My wife and I have been in the Christian Counseling profession since 1997. Twelve of those years I worked with women with eating disorders in a Christian inpatient treatment center.
Most recently, I was a counselor and Clinical Director for a drug and alcohol treatment center. I am currently retired but still want to share my experience with what God has done in my life.
Many people have a life verse or section of scripture that God has given them. The section of scripture the God has opened up to me is The Sermon on the Mount. This section of the Bible is what has inspired me to write this blog so I can share some of the insights the Holy Spirit has shown me.
My prayer for you is the same Paul prayed for the Philippians:
Philippians 1:9-11 NIV1984
9 And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, 10 so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, 11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.
Also, Paul’s prayer for the Ephesians:

14 For this reason I kneel before the Father, 15 from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name. 16 I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge —that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
